Transitional Gown

Transitional heavy wool gown after the fashions of the turn of the 16th century in Europe. It features a square neckline and a flat front without a waist seam.

The back is cut in two pieces: a fitted upper bodice and a full skirt with cartridge pleating. This gown was made in 2010, and was later disassembled and the fabric repurposed.
