I gifted my friend Eric a certificate for custom-made garb on the occasion of his 40th birthday. He gave me carte blanche to decide on the style. With the knowledge that he favors early-period and that he lacked cold weather garb, I decided on a Norse set of linen tunic for fair weather and wool jacket for colder nights.
The linen tunic features contrasting neckline facing and cuffs. The neckline is adorned with felt appliqués on both sides. The jacket has contrasting wool facings and a simple couching embroidery on all edges.
